Design interpretation project by Sarah Magill
This project began by researching into 1950’s women’s wear, from buttons to original sewing techniques to then source historically accurate fabric to create the outfit. Once I found fabric, using photoshop, I edited the design into different colour ways to decide on which design is best. Finally, using the models measurements, I created an 1950’s outfit with the perfect fit for the photoshoot.
